Elevate Your Guidance
Expert coaching strategies to help you mentor more effectively

My goal is to help you guide your candidates through the dissertation process with ease and confidence. I understand the common pitfalls of the dissertation journey, and I’ve spent two decades developing strategies to overcome them. Now, I’d like to share those strategies with you.

Most dissertation chairs and committee members receive little or no training in how to guide doctoral candidates through the dissertation process. With heavy workloads, busy schedules, and limited time, it's not surprising that dissertation candidates often feel unsupported, lost, or frustrated.

That’s where I can help:

  • One-on-one consultations to discuss specific challenges with doctoral candidates.

  • Review of draft feedback to ensure that it is clear, specific, and actionable.

  • Templates or rubrics for evaluating proposals, chapters, and drafts.

  • Proven strategies to help candidates complete each section of the dissertation.

  • Faculty development sessions on feedback and academic writing standards.

Whether you're helping doctoral candidates clarify a topic, develop a research design, propose a viable study, or complete a final draft for submission to ProQuest, I can help make the process smoother.

Let’s explore how we can make this journey easier both for you and your candidates.

If you'd like to discuss how I can support you and your doctoral candidates, please call, text, or email at your convenience.
